ralton 0 Posted October 26, 2014 Stunning picture! At first glance it looks like a meteor hurtling through space. Well done indeed! Link to comment
mountaineer1965 0 Posted October 27, 2014 Very nice composition, exposure, and detail. I like the overall cold feeling of the scene which you presented very nicely with the handling during processing. I see where you could get at least one other strong composition from this same frame; cropping just below the drop-off and leaving just the receding water. As it is the sky adds a lot of drama and makes for an extremely powerful image. One very minor issue is the small white speck below and left of the foreground ice chunk. It is probably a light rock but is a little distracting. Congrats on a great shot. Link to comment
AlainD 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks to all of you for your nice comments.Craig: you're right. I hesitated to remove this small speck (a little stone indeed) but decided to keep it because on the original image you can see it is a rock. On the small-size image above it is nothing but distracting. I'll clone it out when I find time to photoshop again. Thanks! Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted December 2, 2014 Well, I gasping for air. Lucky you to get to a place like this. The rest of it is your talent to capture the power and grandeur of this place. Bravo. Link to comment
