In viewing your current portfolio I was really impressed by numbers 2 and 3 (present alignment), very natural and chromatically and compositionally well-balanced portraits of your subject(s). You establish a very fine relationship with them, which brings out their character and charm.

Here, a similar naturalness occurs and the pose is also very well thought out. It only suffers a little by the rather cold skin tones (compared to most of your other portraits). Have you tried to reset the colour balance? Also, the hands are very expressive and I think it would add something if they were more in focus. Of course, your objective may have been mainly the facial expression and you will have purposely wanted shallow d-o-f to render the background less invasive, although its colour suits the subject.

Nice image. Like the color (yellow is by all measure, a happy color). The look, and body position, etc... make for a good portrit.
