wolfgangarnold 142 Posted September 24, 2014 I like how you combined different visual layers here: inside, window, outside. Key element of course is your own reflection - well placed with your gaze not straight on (or through) the window but sideways (again reflections in your glasses) towards the highlights in the sky - cool! Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 24, 2014 I meant to comment on this picture last night but I was too tired to get my thoughts in order. I don't know if I'm all that much better today but here goes. The picture has an air of spontaneity. Even though that's apparently you reflected in the window, taking the picture, it almost feels like this picture composed itself. In a way it did since it seems that you simply pointed the camera at the window and partnered with Chance in the creative process. It's just that unstudied quality (the slanted sill for example) along with the almost lurid colors that gives this picture considerable impact and uniqueness. A real one-of-a-kind shot. jrickert 2 Posted October 2, 2014 Very unusual reflection photo. It is interesting how you are viewed sideways here on the right. Very well done. Best regards, -- Janice Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted October 2, 2014 Janice - I am glad you appreciate the photo - which contains lots of experimental strings combined (shows the view around which the sauna was built or as Jack put it "the photo composed itself"). all the best Hannu Link to comment
