Taken during the "magic hours" and it seemed to live up to it's name.  The tiny church of St Cwyfrans has been in existence since before 1254 and people still use it today as a place of worship and for weddings too!

Such a beautiful location. And of course, you waited for just the right moment to achieve this capture. It is so serene and lovely. 'Dessert' for my eyes (I think you will understand what I mean). The colours of the sky and water sooth the soul.

The location is quite remote and takes a bit of finding.  I used to stay in a little cottage nearby for holidays when the children were young and I fell in love with the place. I have been back quite a few times to photograph the church, but never found the right conditions until now.  I'm so pleased you enjoyed viewing this one.

Yes indeed! It is a special place for all kinds of reasons, and like a lot of these ancient remote corners of North Wales, the place itself seems to have certain kind of magic that I find it difficult to describe.
