I tried to look at the other image but it was a dead end. I will say that this is a fantastic image. Very well composed and absolutely excellent timing. Nice job!

I prefer this. Great shot, congratulations. Excellent composition, too, with this diagonal "jet"... The only thing I don't care too much for is the frame; I appreciate the concept but think that a neutral frame or one with a complementary color would enhance the impact (there is already a lot of blue in the picture itself). I think the frame is also the reason why the photo gives an impression of darkness which actually is not there.

I prefer this one too. Good composition, and a funny image. I prefer smaller frames as well, but this one is fine with the picture.

So many articles about Velvia caution against using it for portraits. With images like this, I wonder why? This is so nice.
