Beach Kelp, Bar Harbor, ME

marshall

Several second exposure after sunset on Velvia 100F. The warmth of the image was a little bit of a surprise, given that I didn't use a warming filter on the lens. Thus, the image is unmanipulated, but it might be a stretch to say it's 100% real color.

This was a several-second-long exposure on Velvia 100F of kelp on

the beach in Bar Harbor, ME. It was taken after sunset, and though

I was pretty sure I was previsualizing the exposure right, I was a

little surprised by how warm the slide came out, given that I didn't

use a warming filter. [i usually would have used an 81A to combat

the blueness in a long exposure on Velvia, but perhaps this is a

property of V100F worth exploring.] All comments welcome, of

course. Enjoy.
