Lots to think about and appreciate here Carlos - a complex glimpse, with fine  insight into your personal world and vision.

Well done, David

Such a striking juxtaposition - is that a TV screen or a photograph? Secondly, I notice the dog, as prompted by the title, & finally the really great looking room. These elements combine to convey a charmingly cluttered, homely scene - nicely captured.

Love the picture, Carlos and I have the same question as Billy is that a TV image or a photograph? It really doesn't matter, either way, Maya and Grandma dominate the picture. And what a glorious mess. I think I'd feel right at home amidst all the books, bicycles, guitar and hammock. This is a place where you can just be yourself. I always love visiting your world, Carlos.

David, Billy, Jack…

this is at my son’s loft. I visited with him yesterday and we had ourselves a little wine and kicked back for a matinée on his new fancy schmancy tv set, and watched “Amour”.  I really can’t say enough about the film other than you just need to see it. Thanks for your visit and words.

Cheers, Carlos - I've been meaning to check Amour out - I do like Haneke's work [Code Unknown is one of my favourite films]. Nice loft!!

I like the homey, family feel to this image. I had wondered if the woman was ill in the hospital and communicating with her dog through Skype. Nice tones and life-moment capture. Thank you for sharing. :)

That is a very cool loft.

What really strikes me is, of course, the apparent relationship between the dog and the image on the tv.  The homey clutter and the dog, and then there's this image of a woman in bed, seemingly communicating with the dog through the type of video phone device that science fiction movies of the 60's, 70's, and even 80's sometimes envisaged.  To me it gives the photo this odd vibe because of the contrast between the seemingly normal and contemporary, and the subtle retro-future note introduced by the woman.  And then there is the lighting and the tones that I see in a number of your images (interior and exterior) that seems to be uniquely yours.
