After your long hiatus, this image fills my eyes and my spirit with beauty.  I love how the tree shadows intersect the walkway, the edges of which fulfill their responsibility as leading lines.  The tonality and color palette is sensual.

My best,

michael

I love this shot Tony. The lighting, shadows, and the separation between water and sky. Well done! !!  AJ

Very beautiful composition with lovely golden light (my favorite kind)! I am guessing the wood walkway is stained; I see the shadows of the trees but there is no object to be making the other somewhat human form of a shadow... or is there? A ghost? Lovely scene, ghost or no ghost! Thank you for sharing. :)

Alain, Michael Mancil, Michael Linder, AJ, Alan, Patsy, Holger and Trisha, Many thanks for taking the time to visit and share your thoughts with me. It is gratifying when other photographers can appreciate what I consider as a gift to have the scene and the light right in my backyard.

The ramp was a floatable device that has been there for a couple of years probably from a failed business and it was very convenient to have it there. Not long after this shot was taken it was removed.

Because I visit this spot frequently I have had my share of intense red-orange light which has a window of opportunity of less than 5 minutes. It is so magical that I want to photograph everything it touches and that is impossible. I got a few nice shots within that 5 minutes and I will post at least one more.

Trisha - you are right about those mysterious markings. I went back to my unchanged originals (and i took a few as I worked the scene) and that mark was there. Maybe it was an unsolved murder and the victim comes there to try and pass a message to this world. (*_*).

All the best and thanks again.
