single photos Colored Ivy

This was near the waterfall I posted earlier.

Very nice patterns. Maybe a very subtle burn on the bottom corners to settle the subject and to match the dark corners on the top.

I think it needed it. It's just a bit blue/cyan from the sky light reflections. Otherwise, it's a lovely study in nature's shapes and colors.

Tne print is even a little bluer than this, so Fred is absolutely right, the polarizer should have been on for this one. It was in my bag about 12 feet away - Doh!

Other than cyan and the glare that would have been fixed with the polarizer (and don't forget positioning yourself 90 degrees to the sun :), I do like this picture. There is a delightful pattern of color here, and the composition leads the eye to a single set of leaves. It's a real nit, but I think I'd either get all of the leaf set in the lower right corner in or cut more of it out. 'bout like so:
