Lily plus

It may not look like it, but the background was carefully considered

in this one, as was the lighting. I know the second bloom doesn't add

to the image, but this was the best angle I could get using the

tripod. The bug was a total surprise when I got the pictures back.

I'm not sure how I feel about the second blossom but the bug's cool. This is the sort of thing that happens when one concentrates too hard on getting the shot.

I absolutely love the blossom in the back, but that's just me and my love of decay. The way the blossom in focus seems to bow to the blossom in the back also adds strength to the image. The picture does not really need the bug, but it sure is a nice addition.

The choice of background is great; smooth and non-distracting. The light is a tad harsh though. Maybe using a diffuser (or a white plastic bag) would help. The bug is cool. I wish it stood out more though.
