Tiny Grasshopper - (enlarge)

Summer feelings comes in my mind looking this image,don't know why but this season in my area were less grasshoppers than usual.I like focus on main subject and contrast with blur yellow petals.

This is beautiful work, Gail.  I wonder what his/her life is like.

 

The yellow flowers bespeak the arrival of cooler weather and shorter days, welcome now, not so welcome later.

 

The little hopper is oblivious to those inevitable changes, and so I presume that it appreciates the day that it is given without asking for more.
