jim_j2 9 Posted July 23, 2014 I like this composition with the three of them on the log and, it appears that it could have been a challenging lighting situation that you handled well. I see very few Wood Duck here in the Midwest and, when I do see them it's usually their back ends as they're leaving! I've always longed for the opportunity to photograph them! Marvin 4 Posted July 31, 2014 The site is a pond associated with a local arboretum. I returned there because there had been lots of tree swallow activity earlier. Now the swallows are gone and the pond is nearly deserted. These slumbering ducks were the last of the wild life left at this point. Link to comment
