AJ, great stuff, I like how you captured the layering in the rocks, a rainbow of colors splashed over our computer screen. Topped off with a cobalt blue sky which contains even more layers.

Although not quite as dramatic, this does remind me of the "Missouri River Breaks" as they were called by the locals in North Central Montana.

I think the "Muley Point" name also had alot to with the memory. Many accessible areas of the Missouri River Breaks had similiar names.

From my experience in Montana, I can just imagine sitting here with Binoculars glassing for Mule Deer!

Your shot here shows the vastness of this type of landscape but I'm certain being there would be much more of an impact of the vastness.

Cheers!

Thanks for the comments. It's an awesome spot and I've never seen more than 3-4 people there. It was a hot stormy afternoon and the sun was in and out which helped create some interesting clouds and colors in the sky. In hindsight I should have stitched together a few shots...but thats what next summer is for. Stayed in Bluff a couple nights to also check out Mule Canyon.
