lawson_k 0 Posted June 1, 2001 Do the railings leading into the subject actually help the portrait ? My view is that it helps. This was taken from the first roll of film I used specifically for the purpose of taking portraits. It was intended to be a more natural style as opposed to the traditional portraits which I have no interest in taking. Link to comment
richard_utting 0 Posted June 1, 2001 Yeah, I think the rail helps the overall composition but draws the eye away from the subject by being out of focus. A little sharper (less obtrusive) and bingo. A more original take on portraiture, though, which is good. Link to comment
