I know how much you long to visit these places Alf, and when you do, you manage to obtain a POV that is so compelling. This one as Luisa has said, makes one feel like they are there with you. The reflections in the water are so lovely. This one is a 'winner' for me. Perhaps a candidate for one of the contests you enter :) Such beauty. I can't stop looking at it.

You are right I do love these places. I was speaking with my very good friend Dimitris Vasilou (A fantastic PN Photographer)  last night and he was telling me how much he liked this image. I had to be honest and tell him I don't really like it.  Not because there is anything particularly bad about it, but the light is quite harsh and I would prefer the scene if it was taken 2 hours earlier ..........or is it me being a bit too nitpicky : - ) But as you have mentioned it I will enter it in one of the contests as it never ceases to amaze me how peoples taste vary.
