Indeed Morris Minor's were not built for butts that size. This is an early model with the the small rear window, it will also have a split front screen. I am guessing a date of around 1956-1959. This model was replaced by the Morris Minor 1000, of which my father had several. When I started work as an apprentice in the motor trade in 1963 these were the type of car I learnt my trade on. Thanks for the memories.

Nice shot! I had a 1952 Morris Minor when I was a student. Didn't even have those indicators. Nearly got killed when a car behind me didn't see my hand signal one dark night.

Thanks Adrienne for commenting.They look like VW beatle indicator lights fitted as hand signals are not advisable or legal anymore.John
