A really nice composition with that wonderful black background and the subtle lighting!

About 15 miles from me in Muskogee Oklahoma they have an annual Azalea Festival that is supposedly pretty well known. It's held in a large city park from sometime in March through June or so. However, this year a late freeze/frost put a damper on the whole occasion and I have heard that they may have lost many of the Azalea's.

I visited the park a couple of times during late March & April but, nothing worth photographing in the flower areas.

My daughter decorates the interior of her house with flower paintings, prints, etc., and she also checks out PN here once in a while. I'll have to send her a "heads up" on these in your gallery.

Cheers & Regards always,

Jim j.

I have not seen this spectacular flower in this area. You have seized it in good light and presented it with your usual excellent dexterity.Bravo!
