Note the pollen on the bird's beak and on the fringes of the upper lip of the flower.

 

You can see the yellow anther waiting to deposit pollen and the tiny end of the pistil (the stigma for those taking notes...) just above it ready to collect pollen already on the beak.

Nice crisp details, lighting and very nice background!

I too like the position of the Hummer with his wings in the forward position. Also like the very educational introduction. Always good to learn something new each day!
