bronx 0 Posted June 15, 2014 Never have I understood people that say they don't like tats, hell it's art on the best canvas there is. Sure people get tattoo's that I don't care for, but someone else may love it. It's like photography, a lot looks bad to me but I don't dislike them all, hell every now and then I see something beautiful. A closed mind is such a waste. Best regards. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 15, 2014 I am sure 'Hello Kitty' isn't / wasn't green. That said, it is the tattoo I like the most. Link to comment
bronx 0 Posted June 15, 2014 Les, your comment "they work for this image." Makes me think that you're not closed minded and that you can see beauty despite your view on tats. My comment is more toward the people that rated this a 3 or lower. I would love to here there critiques and to view there work. If this is a 3 to them they must have the port that photographers dream to see. I wish one of them would enlighten me.David, Hello Kitty is green, Amy's tats are just as you see them. The saturation was raised a little and mask from the rest of the photo, I was trying to make them match and pop like her red lips. Thanks both of you for the time you took to comment. Link to comment
amichaelbrown 0 Posted June 16, 2014 David, for what it's worth, I think this is a beautiful photograph. Very high quality, if it were mine, I'd be very pleased! Link to comment
wink_photo 0 Posted June 16, 2014 David. I really think this is a fine image. I like the high key approach and feel like the exposure was handled really well. The model is defined from the background without losing anything in the highlights. I also like the pose and gaze, it gives her a very thoughtful feel. Also, your model is beautiful, tattoos and all. All the best. Dana... Link to comment
AlanKlein 2,904 Posted June 16, 2014 I like this photo. The model is pretty and the lighting is just right. The soft colors, model's gaze, and contrast between the dark stockings and skin tones work well. The model seems very pensive and vulnerable like she can really use a hug. Well done. Link to comment
bronx 0 Posted June 16, 2014 Michael it's worth a lot and thanks for your thoughts. Dana and Alan, I liked the lighting as well, it's a little flat but with her face down it gives the shadows I wanted under her nose and chin while not having hard shadows on the backdrop. As far as Amy, she is very beautiful to my eyes. The pose for me is more about guarded than vulnerable but I do see were it comes off as vulnerable. I guess I see guarded because Amy has a fighters personally. Thanks for the critique guys. Link to comment
