jerrymat 5 Posted June 15, 2014 Gregg, I would suggest that the horizontal format and the vertical climbing child are fighting each other. I propose that a vertical format would have been more consistent with the implied motion of the subject.Jerry Link to comment
overdiep 0 Posted June 15, 2014 Greg, If I see this image I go back to the adventures of my own youth. I like the expression of courage and joy. Best regards. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 15, 2014 I am captivated by the expression and sense of fun. Great expression and I like the sense of depth. It looks like we're seeing someone else's hand (unless I'm reading this wrong) helping the kid out. I'd like to see just a little more of that. Not too much, because I appreciate the ambiguity, but enough to make it a little more part of the narrative. Nice depth of field. His parents should have a copy of this! And we should all allow ourselves a bit of this kind of exuberance.Fred Link to comment
gjhigh 2 Posted June 16, 2014 I was actually twenty feet above the subject looking down and captured the image I agree it was not the best angle if would have been down level with the boy . Link to comment
