Yosemite Valley in Snow

Wonderfully captured. A great shot.

I like the rocky lead in that allows our eyes to follow to the dramatic landscape, only to be topped with an equally dramatic sky, very nicely put together.

It's a very dramatic scene, maybe a bit too dramatic for my taste (too much contrast), but that's my personal preference. I love the snow covered rocks in the foreground, but I might have tried to avoid the little triangular patch of ice in the lower left corner. Though that would have probably meant that you and your camera had gone for a swim... :-)
