Hi. I have started to work on my photography more and am looking

for guidance and constructive criticism on my work. I haven't had any

formal training and am wondering what I should concentrate on.

Don't know whether I am qualified to critique; however, I can comment on what I like or don't like about the image.  I like the B&W treatment and the tones in the image, although overall it is a bit dark.  I think you have overdone it on the vignetting.  The placement of the subject in the centre of the image doesn't quite work for me (I'm a 'rule of thirds' kind of guy).  I suppose at the end of the day it all comes down to what you are trying to portray with this shot and as a viewer I am unsure.  By the way, you have some lovely images in your portfolio.  Steve
