Very very fine view of a totally weird and fascinating airplane (which is probably a waste of money, but that's a political rather than photo topic so never mind).

Under the circumstances it's a very nice photo. Nice and sharp and perfect exposure. I would have liked to see it more full frame or with a more interesting background.

Considering you were able to see this stealth bomber with about 1 grand worth of photo equipment I'd have to agree with the other poster that it may not have been money well spent. ;)

I'm an engineer, and I still don't see how the damn thing flies with no tail.

If I had the $100,000 per hour flight time cost....ummm....maybe it's a million per hour, dunno...I would try to retake the shot near dusk, so the batwing outline was barely visible, maybe a few running lights on, and a twilight landscape below it. The '2' is designed to fight at night, and such a shot would suggest this plane entering its element.

And, I will also add, I hope this plane turns some bad guys to dust in the next few days.

Great shot! I like how clouds enhance the detail and contrast of the plane.

For those engineers and general public wondering how this thing flies, just think how many man-hours must have been invested, using the latest technologies in: CAD-CAM, composite materials, computer control, and most important: human ingenuity.
