Thank you Jim for your comment on my work, yes... it's all done up in a knot!... but I think it's a suggestive knot... Kindest regards. Laura M.

Image would be more appropriate name than photograph! From one side erotic picture like from the first half of the 20th century while some properties make it look like a surreal portrait, let's say of a mermaid (the impossible position of the legs towards the background)!

Very good looking portrait of the whole figure on fitting in some way background, regarding colors for example, but also the darkness which to some extent is hiding the impossible position f the legs!

I would recommend background with two surfaces, one in perspective and the other as it is now, but above the hip maybe! Of course, it's an idea for another picture!

Very good looking and impressive as it is!

That would be my contribution to the critique of this wonderful image, dear Laura!

Best regards

Dear Pierre, I really like reading your comments and feelings about the images. Not all images, in which I work, are uploaded here. I doubted a bit whether to upload this picture, but I just find very interesting: the relaxed attitude of the face vs. the rotation of the legs.

You say almost "of a mermaid", so impossible, but I can assure you the turn was very natural to me, so effortless and simple, and I think if I make it on purpose, I could not, believe me!. Was seen and unseen, in a clink of an eye. I enjoyed making this picture.

I also love your idea of the two backgrounds, I think about a background to use in perspective in the strange area and just another one without any perspective and creating by using them more effect at looking at it. Thanks Pierre is a good idea.

I like your comments about the colours, as well. Colour is very important to me.

Thanks for your feedback, always so good, for being so attentive, by taking a look at my work, for your good ratings and for being always there.

Your visit is very appreciated and precious. I'm very grateful.

Kindest regards, Laura M.

All of your photos cause me to wonder what story is being told--often deep, mysterious and confusing. The eyes here just pull in the viewer who then must step back to see who is this? where is she? what is going on here? A mysterious woman in a deep mysterious place. Great work yet again.

Dear Henry,

Thanks for your kind comment and yes... I love telling stories in the images.

I think that when taking a photo, one tries to capture the better way of the composition all at once, one tries to better show others what is watching at that moment but... I first think about a story and then I work in order to take the photos and so to be able to present this previous thought...

As if a tale could be made a photo!, thanks for your feedback on this image, it encourages me to go on :)

Thank you! and kindest regards, Laura Marco.
