As with many of your images, this is very appealing.  I have read your commentary on other photos of yours and see that you use filters.  I wonder if you also blend images?  The reason I ask is that the movements of some elements (mainly foreground water, mid water, or clouds) sometimes do not appear to be in sync.  Regards, Jeff

Jeff, I do both... Filters change always the quality of the photo. Therefore, I prefer not to use filters except polarizer filter. It is very useful in many ways... But, I also use blending for the photos which I use different shutter speeds... It takes more time to blend than using filters but the result is a lot better.

Hi Kani,

Perhaps "a lot better" if you want more art and less realism.  The downside of blending images with different shutter speeds is that the result can resemble a collage (e.g. your "Reaching the Light"), and I'm not sure that is desirable in landscape photography.  However, there's no denying that your images are pretty and score well, and so my opinion is obviously in the minority!  Regards, Jeff

Jeff, That photo called "Reaching the light" is not a blend. There is one exposure and the process is on that exposure. Nevertheless, the blend of different exposures can be sometimes surrealistic, but, it shows the photographer's artistic approach. Beside that, I do not like to add or substract anything from the landscape where I made the photo. By the way, "Reaching the light" is not a blend but "Anger of thyphoon" is a blend of two exposures.

Gary, Blending is combining two or more photos in order to get light balance or enough depth of field or any other artistic result...
