Conversion from color image allowed darkening of blue sky and tone

variations that highlighted the variety of field stone that the mason

selected for this farmhouse in Nouvelle France. A jpeg image very simply

transformed in PS Elements with use of color sliders.

Hi Pierre. Merci.  I seem to be in a phase of ordinary or straightforward photographs of local architecture. Not sure it will go very far, unless it starts meaning more to me as a series or I can associate it with other messages like written text. I love visiting your site. Very imaginative work.

You've done a good job here,Arthur, and have achieved good conversion to black and white with a good range of grays and excellent contrast. Nice!

Great b/w tones, congratulations!

C.R., thank you. Very slight alteration of red and blue channels during the conversion, but I think the light really helped in the differentiating the tones in the faintly colored fieldstones.
