The boat looks like a travelling circus still trapped in the ice. The wide shot is perfect to emphasize the relationship and contrast between ship and environment.

These boats become very colorful once geared up for their initial trip to the fishing banks. Each boat has its own color of buoys for easy recognition out at sea and the spectacle is always pretty impressive when the ''GO'' signal is given for the season opener and they all get in a sort of a race to get to their mapped favorite spot now easily identifiable by GPS.Some,as this one spend the winter seized up in the ice as you can see here with the solid sheet around it;the other boats at the far end of the wharf have just been put back in the water after a winter on the slip and, because of the extreme ice conditions this year,an icebreaker had to be brought in to break the sheet so these boats could make their way to their allocated spot  to start rigging up.I have attached a fresh photo from today with a better sky atop this one.Thank you for looking in and for the kind observation.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
