I appreciate your taking the time to view and comment on the Bodie images.  I've been there a number of times and still don't feel I did a good job of conveying my feelings when I'm there.  Reportedly, a young girl in Bodie wrote to a friend that "Bodie was a place that God forgot".  I'll be going there again in a few months and I'm going to try using infra-red filters.  Thanks again, Phil

P.S. Bodie is a ghost town in Eastern Sierras, in a high desert region of about 2500 meters. It is a rare example of a desert subartic climate.  Established as a gold mining camp in 1876 it rapidly declined in the early 29th century.
