thadley 15 Posted April 18, 2014 Jeff I know you take your time to set-up your shots and if I had to guess, you probably used a graduated ND filter (The best kind available) and the result is very good. You have mentioned to me in the past that you don't do much post processing. I too would have used similar equipment to capture this shot. I have taken the liberty to do two post processing actions on your image: I lightened the top portion of your sky and I did so at the bottom area but minimally. When I did that, it revealed to me that the very bottom section (especially the corners) of the image was not quite as sharp as other areas. Focus-stack might be one way to fix that but is it worth it? This is nit-picking on a very good image that i wished I had captured and I only write this because you would know that I am attempting to provide a constructive critique. I am not doing too much of these types of critiques these days for all kinds of good reasons. I will attach the modified version and there is no claim that mine is better - it comes down to tastes. AlainD 0 Posted May 19, 2014 Wow, that's an amazing shot! The sand patterns and the light are fantastic. I like Tony's version, especially concerning the bottom right corner.Best regards,Alain Link to comment
