Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 13, 2014 Terrific action picture, Mark. I like everything about it starting with the tones and extending to the running bridesmaid (or perhaps the bride herself) and beautifully balanced composition. The lady with the outstretched arm is the cherry on the cake. Link to comment
mbh 0 Posted April 13, 2014 Thank you Jack. I do enjoy your comments. And certainly, your encouragement earlier has me taking up photography again. This isn't actually a bride. It's this girl's fifteenth birthday. In the Latin-American culture, a girl's fifteenth birthday and coming of age is marked with a major to-do. The girl in the background is actually her twin sister and hence this was a double quinceañera. It's really an amazing ceremony to attend. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted April 13, 2014 Beautiful tones. The whole picture works well. I like motion of the rearmost sister. A peek at the sandal gives a Cinderella feel, which is in keeping with the sentiment. Link to comment

mbh 0 Posted April 28, 2014 Thanks Jeff, Ruud, Nikita, and Ioannis, I've known these two girls since they were babies. They're both good friends of my daughter. I wish I could say exactly what's happening in this shot, but it's more lifting my camera and snapping the picture. I've got more shots of both running, which seemed to be their primary speed at times. Link to comment
