The human condition is not always beautiful. Excellent image of neglect and poverty. Your low point of view adds to your connection with your subject.

The expression of the child is heartrending. It is important to know what kind of life many people have. The rich world has to act in order to reduce the poverty in the world.

While the subject matter makes many of us who do not ever see this kind of Poverty and life situations in our streets, a bit uncomfortable, perhaps feeling a bit guilty because we feel we should be doing more to help - ??? it is a reality that tugs at my heart and a sadness overcomes me because I am  mother and grandmother. It is not just an image of poor living conditions and hunger, it is far more reaching than we can ever imagine. It is beautifully photographed and I am sure this skill you possess is partly what has made the image that much more compelling.

Outstanding scene with great but very touching mood.
