Water Tank and Mill Near Spencer's Mountain, North Carolina, 2013

I know that most people would not take this shot, but I'm not most people.  I like the old-style water tank.  Such tanks are rapidly disappearing.

I also like the detail throughout, but I'm not sure why.

Certainly typifies the downfall of mills in the South......  Love the colors!

I like how the color gives the image depth. I remember scenes like this from my youth. Is this mill still operational?

Lanny,   Ive dirvien through this area from the Charlotte airport headed to Asheville.  It struck me as ugly industrial and commercial.  i understand your taking the shot, and it is nicely done.  Two suggestions - get rid of the faint jet stream in the sky; and could you get one more verticlal cement pillar to the left of the first window?   Best to you.  Larry
