Dear Laura,

One of the serious flaws of this picture I consider the imperfection of the balls, the reflection is overdone! When I tried to make a new PSD file of a metal ball I used real metal ball a took couple of pictures of it and since  it was a very small ball the dust on it and other dirt make it unusable and they couldn't be removed with cleaning brush, dust blower, wiping all around with clean cloth...and you now reminded me how to make a perfect one!

Thank you for your observation and your stimulating remarks!

Dear Timothy,

Thank you for your very encouraging in general comment! About the meaning see the comments of Michael Linder, he knows the meaning of each and every my picture even when I don't!

Hi Pierre,

Amazing creative work that only you could produce.  I love the shadow's.  As I have said many times it's always a wonder as to what you will create next.  Excellent work!! Take care, Patsy

I like the silhouetted tree, cloud and the ball bearings  that seem to float and add a viscosity to the scene, a smooth movement, a liquidity and a sense of change. My only dislike is the placement of the foreground ball, it interferes with the separation of the tree  and I find myself wishing it would shift to the right, but then maybe that was intentional . : - )

Surreal and superbly creative!

Compliments

Hey, Alf!

Of course everything was intentional, but was it good, that's the question now and I will solve the problem now, it's 4.26 AM here and I won't go back to bed until the problem is solved! There is something awkward with its positioning and Marco noticed it and his conclusion was to take it away, when I took it away he said that the picture lost impact that way!

Thank you for your keen eye critique, my friend!

As usual you surprised us with original interesting composition that gives us time to reflect about it and each one imagination creates a story in his mind.I look to second one too you did after Alf opinion but as we know each one with his taste and way as objects are seen,so to me first one gives more impression of space and perspective even part of the tree is behind the ball.

Oh,  welcome Radu, long time no visit my place!

It is a matter of balance we should care about, not anybody's personal taste and I also thought the balance was (is) wrong but in a hurry I made several other mistakes!

Thank you for your precious visit and opinion!

Hi Pierre,

You have a very interesting dream. Everything hangs in the air nothing holding on the ground. The balls looks like real, but dead tree looks like like your dream. You have brilliant ideas!

Best regards, Tina

"Balance"  Yes and you have addressed the issue perfectly with your revised version, whilst still retaining the impact!

Cheers Pierre!

Hello Pierre, Great composition as usual very creative mind. I did not read the other comments so as not to be influenced. My only problem is the tree, its base is too linear and no shadows. I rather like to see the tree floating also. Keep your creative mind flowing my friend, we enjoy it!
take care.

I think the image is very balanced! The dream is odd, but pleasant: pinkish colours imply it. And flying metal balls do leave a lot of hope... Warm regards, Tamara

p.s. I had a dream I left my D7000 on a potato field and when remembered - couldn't find it! That was a feeling!

Thank you, Patrick!

I wish I could make a shadow for the tree, but it wouldn't be so easy as for the balls! Your remark is on its place!

Beautiful dreamy photograph, Pierre. I happen to like the tree. Wonderful floating spheres. It appears to me as if they are dancing around the tree. Well executed. Don't change a thing.
