marcel ligthart 0 Posted September 5, 2003 I guess the timing is right because the composition looks right this way. Any more white water would overflow the rocks and make a less interesting picture, any less water and you miss the nice texture in the broken wave.It seems to me that there is little detail in the shadows. Also the detail in the highlights could be stronger. A little while ago I read a very informative artikel by Norman Koren about contrast masking. I took the liberty to play around a little with your photo because I thought it was a good canidate for this technique. I've posted my pity result so you can be the judge whether this technique will improve your photo. I guess you will get a far better result by trying it yourself. Chiao, Marcel. Link to comment
