Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 4, 2014 Oh, Tatjana, little girl lost. Follow the telephone poles, they will lead you back to Kansas. Bleak but strangely beautiful and compelling. Nice to see some new work from you. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,612 Posted March 4, 2014 Notwithstanding my initial reaction of alienation and isolation, I am emboldened by the strength the tree in the foreground demonstrates to me. It will survive the winter and draw strength from the spring-to-come.Extraordinary image . . . Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted March 5, 2014 great one, Tatjana... the hue generates cold, and bleakness, and overcast sky more emotionally than i think bw would... the large field of snow on right frame and poles drawing us down that bleak road creates a panorama of the broad scene which creates the cold mood. making the tree your subject is much more interesting than the long roads we so often see. ;-} dp Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted April 13, 2014 This is great Tatjana! I love the tones, the isolated and lonely feeling and the tilted horizon. All of it speaks strength and survival to me. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted November 10, 2014 Yes, too late.. Uploaded for qritique the image simply was waiting for a well choosen reaction. I wasn't in the mood, at the same time disliking the silence. However, after getting their coats the deserved compliments started running. Great, for indeed: the overall tone, the lines, the balanced tree, the presented 'simplicity' is fantastic..!
