The shot by itself is not real exciting. The thorns are the centerpiece of the photo, they tell the story. Zoom in and capture the thorns from the right or underneath. The shots a big "head-on" and I don't get the full effect of the thorns. Needs an insect or some centerpiece. The thorns could be the centerpiece with a different point-of-view and lighting.
