Gemini Telescope, Mauna Kea, HI

I still look at this photo and think it looks so surreal! Everyone was

watching the sun set (which was to my left as I took this shot,) but I

turned around to see how the observatories looked in the beautiful

pink glow of the sunset. It only lasted for a minute before it was

gone. I used a graduated ND filter, and believe it or not, the only

alteration I made to this photo was a simple adjustment to the contrast.

Wonderful image.  I really like it.

It has a surreal look indeed. A truly wonderful image! It's even more impressive when thinking you have only done minor post-processing.
