Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted March 2, 2014 Douglas, You have an excellent capture of the fountain. Whether the sky is too dark may be related to how you intend to use the image. Online, it looks fine. If you decide to print the image on paper, it may be difficult to retain definition in the sky with it this dark. The exposure level of the fountain is terrific. I guess that's what matters the most. Nice image. Larry Link to comment
stp 6 Posted March 2, 2014 On my monitor, the sky looks fine -- I can see clouds, yet the fountain clearly remains the main subject. Link to comment
douglas_drouin 0 Posted March 2, 2014 Thanks all. This was actually shot on a sandbar where the mouth of a local river meets a lake. The whole thing was completely frozen over. I exported from lightroom using long edge format and it darkened the overall image quite a bit, so I will attempt to print via shortedge. Hoping that will lighten it back up, if not I will touch up the exposure values. Thanks for the CC Link to comment
