Ciao, amico mio. Maurizio, pazzo anche lui,...nonostante tutto! Ahahah!!! Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted February 17, 2014 Great Mondel world. Master of the new concept and new imagination. Best Regards, Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 17, 2014 Brilliant work, Pierre, with obvious echoes of the early cubists, Picasso and Braque. There are many possibilities as you have pointed out but this arrangement works particularly well. I'll include this with my favorites. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 18, 2014 Well done Pierre, excellently composed. Isn't it amazing what you can come up with when you take the time and play with the 'tools'. You have been doing this for some time I imagine, I am just a beginner, but I love your final image!! Bravo!! You should frame this one! Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted February 18, 2014 Some things just so good to look at, and no amount of explanation or interpretation by me will make that fact any less significant about this image. I love the colours the contrasts and the angles, I don't care what it means this time, I just like looking at it. Sincere Compliments! Alf Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted February 18, 2014 It has been a while...But the wait is worth it. An impressive abstract array. The yellow overall tonality and the black spaces and lines make this a delightful composition, worthy of any high-quality gallery. It has so much movement, and even when seemingly in different directions, has some sort of order and not at all chaotic, and very pleasing. Not bad for a dream come true. As always, exceptional work. Kind regards.DG Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Mi hai lasciato senza parole, Maurizio! IE, non so da dove cominciare con la mia spiegazione del mio punto di vista! Sarebbe meglio copiare e incollare il commento di Laura Marco! La ringrazio molto per i vostri sforzi per scrivere un grande critica come sempre! Ciaomau Pietro il pigro Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you, Wanghan! I didn't understand the word "mondel", but anyway I can say that this is an old concept for me, both pictures shown here are from the time of my tinkering with total abstracts! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you, Jack! I appreciate highly your comment and encouraging comparison! Especially the part of the favorites! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you, Gail! I find your comment most encouraging, but I don't know how old I am in this "business", however I still remain on the claim I did on your latest! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you, Alf! Generally I agree with you, but this time the meaning is thoroughly explained by me, by the caption and Laura Marco's comment! Thank you once again for your encouraging comment! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you, Daniel! I hope you meant to say (by "it's been a while, but worth waiting") that you have not been here, on my pages for quite a while instead of "it was quite a while you haven't exposed something which I find worthwhile"?! Thank you anyway! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 18, 2014 Cubist painting as someone said, Maria! Thank you for your, as usually short, but valuable comment! PDE Link to comment
color 3 Posted February 19, 2014 A nice abstract from something concrete, soft concrete (bananas), but still concrete. Good work. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 19, 2014 Welcome Chuck! Please, don't get angry! You mean concrete as an adverb, don't you? Yes, I understand you, but I also don't understand how something concrete may be abstract! As a matter of fact I don't even know what abstract means! Many consider, for example a picture of some plate an abstract, which I don't understand! Thank you for this thought provoking input, my friend and thank you for the positive critique! patrick_coombes 0 Posted February 19, 2014 Stunning creativity here Pierre, adding to that the good choice of colours. If all chaos looks so beautiful we should have a better world. Great work my friend.Keep well.Patrick Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted February 19, 2014 Patrick, I don't know whether I've chosen the right expression (fallen dreams), maybe it would've been better "broken dreams" as Laura above used, she certainly knows more about English than myself, that said I mean there isn't chaos, only broken dreams which again may be considered a chaos!Thank you very much for your visit and nice comment, my friend! yecon 0 Posted February 19, 2014 A good image should have interesting forms, lines and patterns, placed in a position and lighted in a way that makes an impact and engages the viewer. This composition of yours succeeds all the way! My best compliments and regards from Crete, Petraki! Link to comment

timothymuffitt 1 Posted February 20, 2014 Hi Pierre,This is a powerful piece! The arrangement of the squares is interesting and engaging on it's own, but the black "holes' from whence the shapes have fallen is where the real depth of the work comes. We see what was, or what might have been and what actually is. Very fine!Tim Link to comment
