The weather was not the greatest for shots but I grabbed what I could.  There is a boulder cave close by and I am told that it affords the privacy for shooting models with little or no clothes. None were there when I visited.

Picturesque is not sufficient to describe this.  I've got to get out of the mountains and visit some of these places!  Beautiful... Mike

So..  much depth and detail looks more like brush strokes. Usually no matter how good the photo or photographer a landscaped photo doesnt ever come close to feeling real as when you are actually there in the moment, but to me this feels very real.

Beautiful Tony. This one really caught my eye even in the thumbnail. Not much else to say that hasn't already been said.  Well Done!!!!!    AJ

Very strong and interesting back ground.  Dramatic skies with the jade-like water.  Excellent composition.  Sharp details.  Best Regards,

I love the textures in the foreground rock and sand and can appreciate the front to back sharpness of the image. The composition is great with the view of the catamarans between the rocks, but if I was being very very nit picky, Ideally I'd like to see some separation between them.

Compliments!

Mike - thanks. Mountains and water remain my favorites. I guess I found some mountainous boulders and water here. There was even more water when it rained briefly during my short visit (a couple of hours) here.

Koushik and Margo - - I had some options re composition and I consider myself to get this one.

Margo - Happy New Year! I have not heard from you recently and I hope all is well.  Thanks for the comment and visit.

Helena - I could not agree more with 'being there' and that is 'real thing'. All images are just a 2d attempt at a 3D situation and will always fall short.

AJ - glad you liked it.

Dani - I appreciate you thinking so highly of this image that you would assign a 'top mark'.  Even after being here at photo.net for a few years, one never knows how an image will be rated. These days I might submit one image every 2 months for rating.

Wanghan - thanks for telling everything that you liked about the image. Hope all is well and if you are back to photo.net recently, 'welcome Back'.

Alf - always appreciate your insights. I also agree that there could have been separation of boats. Of course, you know the old saying about attempting to play the best hand possible from the cards that have been dealt.

For everyone who visited and commented, your time and insights are appreciated.

All the very best,
