Excellent detail, love the little yellow eye watching, and the water droplet adds interest.... but, come on, "Mouth Watering"!  LOL...  Mike

Lol,  Yes I know, but I am allowed a bit of poetic licence : - )

And I did have another few shots with the same kind of duck with a reflected orange sunset that I was going to call "Duck in Orange Sauce"

Many Thanks Mike!

I always find that Sigma lenses seem to produce great colours, far better than Nikon, though I have no idea why that is the case. But here I haven't added any saturation or vibrance.

Thank you Bill!

Many Thanks for your interest and kind words. I have many shots of these birds but the droplet one seemed a bit more interesting.

Beautiful colour and detail in this capture Alf. The water has a beautiful silkiness about it that I find so attractive. Lovely depths of colour, no murkiness. Well done Alf.

Thank you so much, it is all very new to me this bird photography and a bit more tricky than I realised!

The water, yes! I agree, it is one of the elements that appealed to me also. I have a few more of this creature with a warm glow on the water, and that has the same silky quality ...........I think I will post them in my bird folder when I get a moment.

Cheers Gail!

I am still in the experimentation stages with this new lens, but so far it has proved to be very impressive.

Many Thanks & Best Regards
