Not Here 93 Posted February 16, 2014 Excellent detail, love the little yellow eye watching, and the water droplet adds interest.... but, come on, "Mouth Watering"! LOL... Mike Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted February 17, 2014 Lol, Yes I know, but I am allowed a bit of poetic licence : - ) And I did have another few shots with the same kind of duck with a reflected orange sunset that I was going to call "Duck in Orange Sauce" Many Thanks Mike! Alf BILL I always find that Sigma lenses seem to produce great colours, far better than Nikon, though I have no idea why that is the case. But here I haven't added any saturation or vibrance. Thank you Bill! Alf PATSY Many Thanks for your interest and kind words. I have many shots of these birds but the droplet one seemed a bit more interesting. Best Regards Alf Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 17, 2014 Beautiful colour and detail in this capture Alf. The water has a beautiful silkiness about it that I find so attractive. Lovely depths of colour, no murkiness. Well done Alf. Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted February 24, 2014 Thank you so much, it is all very new to me this bird photography and a bit more tricky than I realised! The water, yes! I agree, it is one of the elements that appealed to me also. I have a few more of this creature with a warm glow on the water, and that has the same silky quality ...........I think I will post them in my bird folder when I get a moment. Cheers Gail! Alf ALBERTO Thank you so much! Alf WANGHAN Many Thanks for your interest and kind words! Best Regards Alf HAMID I am still in the experimentation stages with this new lens, but so far it has proved to be very impressive. Many Thanks & Best Regards Alf Link to comment
