The Boots

Hi Fred.  This is an interesting shot and I like the idea, but I think that there are a few things that make this image less successful than it could have been.

The main 2 are that the stool looks totally out of place and I can clearly see the black canvas backdrop.

Something like the beat up box that you used in one of the prior shots would be more appropriate to have her foot on.  I also think that you need to move the subject forward or the canvas back, so that it's rendered as a complete black void.

Some kind of a rim light would also help separate her from the background.

You've got some great work, so keep it up.
