The artistry in this image in terms of composition makes this image so attractive. The creation of making this appear as wall painting all the more made this photo appealing and beautiful. The texture and colour rendition appropriately feels as if I am looking at a truly wall art. Excellently done, Gail

Gail, I would like to thank you for taking the time to thoroughly review my recent image posts. This composition of yours, due to the excellent framing, the amazing warm and vivid colors and the wonderful vintage-like post-production, conveys a unique dreamy and mind-traveling mood. I like it very much!

I always enjoy visiting your images, I've come to be very interested in your lovely Island and the many interesting places you find to photograph. I especially like your many Street images. You certainly achieved a very pleasing effect. The composition of the shot is also nice in it's classic simplicity.

Hi Gail, This is a really good job. Maybe you should think about giving Photo Shop courses. I could learn a lot from you. A definite 7 rating here.

I was almost certain I had commented on this one........maybe I didn't click the "proceed" button....Hmmm I'm going to blame my forgetfulness on the hideous weather we are experiencing!

But all that aside, I really like the effect and have to say it really does look very authentic.  It gives me an impression of Parisian art or possibly Venetian.

Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

Wall paintings direct on to plaster were usually done in Tempera . Pigment mixed with egg white was built up gradually giving a translucent depth to the colours . I remember having to mix and use it at Art College many years ago . With this image you have managed to recreate the effect with the help of P.S. A very good and effective picture , well worth printing . Bill
