LenMarriott 9 Posted February 13, 2004 Regina, I have a soft spot for deep woods photos like this. I agree with you that shots that even remotely interest you should be explored. The shots I most enjoy are often the result of the serendipity factor, just being there, prepared, when something unexpected happens, as occured to me at -20F on a recent field trip. This shot is very moody, dark moody. Looks a bit foreboding, like the path to the Wicked Witch's house. Great depth portrayed here due to the dark foliage, upper left & the progressively lighter layers receding into the fog, not forgetting to mention the double diagonal lines of the road also leading the eye there.
