Is she a spy who has tip-toed barefoot into the secret basement archive to find hidden information?  The lights are on, she has been caught in the act--but she sits confidently with her knowledge and exhibits no intention to flee the viewer's stare.  The impact of this image, for me, is in a sense of mystery.  Good use of space and sense of scale with the subject neither too large or too small in the composition but in harmony with the other elements.  Nice job.

I am not going to speculate on what is she up to or why. I like the composition rather a lot. Those pipes on the ceiling add to the feeling of this being somewhere a little cramped.

Nice use of lighting and barefoot gives this a more dramatic artsy feel
