You had just enough overcast to get  that good definition on the sun and the right light to turn out this excellent image.I like the warm tones. Well done!

The dark to light gradation is really beautiful. I also like the very slight ripples and foggy distant land mass. I get the impression of sitting in a boat and drifting ever closer!

Very well done Bob!

Best Regards

LAURENT.....Thanks for the comments. Unlike the cold winter conditions that have gripped the eastern part of the country, on the west coast its been warmer and dryer. The last couple of weeks there has been an inversion, and the fog has hung around for a while now.Best regards, Bob.

ALF........This spot is just a minute from the house and right along the highway.  I've spent many happy hours canoeing these waters, and at high tide you can walk out to the rocks. Thanks for the comments, Best regards, Bob.

How are you Bob??? I see that you are having better temps than we. We are in the midst of a very serious storm, 1-2 inches of Rain expected. Rain/Freezing Rain/Snow/Thunderstorms/very strong Winds, really quite a worry. This image gives me a few moments of 'Peace' as I hear the rain battering against my Window in my Office. The fog works so well, the water is such a beautiful colour, the light glistening upon the surface. You are so fortunate to be so close to such a beautiful spot.

kind regards, Gail
