An unforgettable African landscape, when nature erupted in its all

colours. A late evening, rain in the horizon of the savannah.

Please review in full size, since due to some strange reason, the

colours are not real in the smaller version !

A classic African landscape.  The larger version is definitely better.  I think you could remove a good portion of the bottom black, make this more of a panorama, and perhaps improve the overall look.

Nice here but really impressive in large view;you seized the essence of these sudden downpours in the rainy season.Excellent work!

Thank you all for very encouraging feedback!

@ Stephen, I really tried cropping it at the bottom, but I felt that the picture is losing the depth and I thought the dim road and the savannah grass added some effect :-P But its good to have a different perspective. Thanks to you.

I think it depends at the resolution of the image. In the small image resolution the foreground is mostly black with no detail. For that image I think I'd prefer a tighter crop that includes less of the foreground. In the larger version, however, the foreground has much more detail and then I prefer the original crop. In any case the two images would be very different, telling a different story.

I agree Christoph

The two pics (cropped and uncropped) will carry entirely different mood and I guess the liking to it is very subjective, I feel...
