I came across this trio while out walking the dogs one fine summer

day. I'm not sure it fits properly in the "landscape" category, but

inasmuch as there is no "people enjoying a day down at the creek"

category, it probably fits as well here as anywhere else. Anyway, let

me know what you think.

Bernard, Interesting candid image.  It appears that the crutches belong to the woman in the middle who seems to be getting some relief from taking off her leg brace.  The reflection adds interest too.  Larry

Larry, yes it is a candid shot. They didn't even know I was there until after I took their picture, at which point I crossed the creek to show them the image on the screen at the back of my camera, which quite interested them because this was rather at the advent of consumer-available digital photography and I don't think any of them had ever before seen such a thing. The crutches add interest, I think, and yes they do belong to the woman at the center of the shot. I don't know what the relationship between them was, and I suppose it doesn't really matter, though the nearly matching red shorts do suggest a more than simple casual connection between at least the two of them...  Anyway, I am happy you took the time to add your thoughts. Regards, and best wishes...

Bernard,   You make a good point about the red shorts,  I hadn't focused on them when I first saw the image.  I think it is great that you showed the image to them.  Best to you.  Larry
