Beautiful detail, colour and light achieved in this macro Shu-Shin.  Just curious, how tiny would this Planthopper be. Usually they are very tiny as I am imagining this one must be!!!

sincere regards, GAil

Thanks Gail.

This kind is about 4mm long.

To me, this species of issid planthopper looks more like a giant moth fly due to its unfolded flat wings.

Shu-Shin,

Excellent image. Nice crisp detail in the wings & eyes. Composition on a strong diagonal adds to a flow of the eye. Despite limited palette, image conveys strong colors. Exposure bang on. Thanks for this one.

Thank you Shu-Shinn for letting me know how small this Planthopper was. I tried photographing one last summer and it was soooo tiny. It was more of the colour of grey to brown bark. You achieved excellent detail in this shot.
