louis1 0 Posted September 1, 2003 Piotr. I reckon you are on a totally different level from the rest of us. Your images give me pause for thought. The subject, pose, lighting, etc. Rarely do I look forward to seeing most other photographers new images. Your's are a great exception. So now, tell us is your inspiration the work of particular artists/paintings/photos or how do you arrive at your vision! All the best Louis Link to comment
koval 0 Posted September 1, 2003 Thank you for your complinents about my work. Trying to answer your question about inspiration - I dont really know. Most of the time I know what I want to do when I meet the model and then I plan what we can achive. In some cases I keep different idea in my mind when shoting and the final results are giving me more then 1 or 2 themes. It just like now, Iam trying to plan a few new subjects and just wait for the right model , situation and posiibilities to happen. Other Artists? Iam not sure about that. I hardly know any .But I feel good with my own ideas and that is enought at the moment ( dont feel like looking for other inspirations).Regards PK . Link to comment
koval 0 Posted September 3, 2003 As on some of my other shot ( not all) the mud is the way to show human's soul. PK. Link to comment
walter_strong3 0 Posted September 3, 2003 This is a real attention grabber and I'm sure that every viewer has an emotional response upon seeing it. You display outstanding creativity. Link to comment
margaret_s. 0 Posted September 3, 2003 This image certainly evokes a strong emotional response and I agree is hard to ignore. Personally it disturbs me (which doesn't mean the photo is bad, it means it's powerful enough to evoke this feeling). He looks so emaciated and twisted.. almost as if he's portraying a tormented soul trapped in a human body. Link to comment
boris_kovacic 0 Posted September 3, 2003 Huh what a photo. It would be interesting to know tecnical details that I would learn something from the master....or is it a professional secret!? Link to comment

gudermane 0 Posted September 9, 2003 The only thing I don't like about the picture is the white frame..In my opinion it simplifies the image Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 16, 2003 I am following your folder evolution for a while. There are indeed some pictures/subject/thema I dont feel very close but I must admit that you can approach many different styles with quite a powerful touch. This one is an intense example. The grain stressed by the powder use, the expression and posture, the light designing interesting shades on the model, the tight crop like if the dancer is trying to fit in, ... very good job Piotr! stefanovandelli 0 Posted November 12, 2003 Superb work. If I might nitpick, I would have preferred the right foot completely in the frame. Cheers, Stefano Link to comment
stefanovandelli 0 Posted November 24, 2003 Well, I keep coming back to this outstanding piece of art. Really I have nothing to nitpick about (see my previous comment) and the cropping is exactly as it should be. BTW, congratulations for the recent POW. Link to comment
